Sir Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam had the dream of taking Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths education to the grassroots level, so that every child, irrespective of class, could gain from its manifold benefits. STEM Learning aspires to make his dream come true, by making STEM education accessible to underprivileged children .We’re so humbled that our Mini Science Centre is now established in the Mecca of Science- Dr. Abdul Kalam’s home in Rameshwaram, Tamil Nadu.
STEM Learning was conceptualized with an aim to inculcate basic concepts of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) at a school level, thereby encouraging aptitude inclination of students towards STEM learning. Models designed by STEM are easy to handle and add the hands-on experience to the concepts in an easy, practical process and substantiate what they learn from text books.
STEM Learning has provided STEM education to 8,00,000+ Students, trained 5000+ teachers in 850+ urban/rural schools by installing Mini Science Centre in Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Goa, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, J&K, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu and many other states of India. These interactive, entertaining and informative centres open a new dimension for the children to watch-observe- question-learn. The experiments and models give the children a first-hand exposure to popular scientific, engineering and technology theories and principles. The experience fascinates and awakens the young mind with the right scientific thought process.
STEM learning is committed to the cause of making education more engaging and interactive and are committed to the successful implementation of CSR program in education .
All our efforts, together, collectively can make young minds ignited in every corner of the country.
